Barriers to Minorities

Barriers to Minorities is a recreated sample text converted into a spread layout. The constraints in this student project were to only use text, color, and one reference image provided with the text. This text spoke about racial inequalities within receiving higher education and the obstacles this demographics face. The spread layout aimed to take advantage of the constraints and focus on how text could be emphasized for the readers to be both visually intrigued while digesting the information more easily. This layout demonstrates how organization and typeface is significant when making stylistic choices while having certain limits.
